Master of Public Administration (MPA)
2 YEARS / Bridging classroom and experiential learning, this program provides you with applied education in policy management, leadership and advocacy. The Skills for Impact program will equip you with real-life skills in conflict resolution, fundraising, media advocacy and law. You will also learn how to work in a team for an external client during the yearlong Applied Policy Project.
Master of Arts in Public Policy (MAPP)
1 YEAR / This intensive program gives you a solid grounding in the key themes and theories of public policy, with a strong focus on the link between policy practice and analysis. Our curriculum, infused with real-world issues, guarantees that you will enhance your research, systematic and critical analytical skills. You will apply your knowledge on the ground during the Policy Lab or an internship.
Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP)
2 YEARS / The Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP) provides a detailed and systematic understanding of how political institutions, processes, and public policies operate and interact from the global political economy to national and local levels with a direct focus on European engagements at these levels of governance. You can tailor your studies to your career goals thanks to our flexible system of tracks and electives. This EU-supported international public policy program offers a mix of analytical and practical components, such as internships and study visits, and includes a second year at one of two partner institutions.
Master of Arts in International Public Affairs (MAIPA)
2 YEARS / The Master of Arts in International Public Affairs (MAIPA) is an interdisciplinary degree with an international profile intended for students who aspire to work in international organizations, NGOs, public administration, or related fields such as journalism and academia. International Public Affairs captures two dimensions of study: on the one hand, the international, which includes governance on the regional, global and transnational levels; and on the other hand, the public, which includes interaction among the government, private and the voluntary sector.
PhD in Political Science, Public Policy Track
Modern policy making, devoted to the principles of good governance, transparency, accountability and effectiveness, needs to be based on sound academic analysis. The PhD in Political Science, Public Policy track is designed for scholars interested in conducting research on the cause, function, nature and outcome of public policy. The Public Policy track prepares graduate students for careers in academic and applied research institutions, as well as the public, private and voluntary sector more generally. The core courses in the track focus on the development of professional research and analytical skills in the fields of European and international public policy, comparative policy analysis and political economy.

Master's Programs:
Holders of a bachelor's degree interested to further their career in public policy, public administration, or international public affairs.
SPP alumni have gone on to work for e.g. the European Commission, U.S. Department of State, World Bank, Transparency International, Global Policy Forum, and for many leading intergovernmental organizations, private sector firms, purposeful non-profit and advocacy organizations, national agencies, governments and top universities.
PhD in Political Science, Public Policy Track:
The Public Policy track prepares graduate students for careers in both academic and applied research institutions. Core courses focus on the development of professional level research and analytical skills in the fields of European and international public policy, comparative policy analysis and political economy.
