Tips for Visitors
Useful information about BeSt³ Vienna
Please note the following information and offers for your stay at the BeSt³ fair in the Wiener Stadthalle:
Information booths
First orientation you can get at the Infokojen (general information booths). You will find the general information booths in the foyer at the main entrance on Roland-Rainer-Platz, in the center of Hall D, in the foyer of Hall E and at the Vogelweidplatz entrance to Hall B.
Fair booths, areas and color coding system
The fair booths are assigned to color-coded content areas. For example, the field of technology and science is green, and health and social affairs are red. The first letters of the areas are part of the booth number, for example T for Technology and Natural Sciences and the booth number T1 for the exhibitor. See also: Floor plan
Catalog, exhibitors and hall plan
At the fair visit you will receive a free catalog (German only) containing the exhibitors and the hall plan of BeSt³ Vienna. Exhibitors who are not listed in the plan are listed on posters at the info booths. The plan may have slight deviations from the real built stands. On presentation walls, institutions are presented that are not represented with their own stand.
BeSt³ manual
The manual “Handbuch für Beruf, Studium und Weiterbildung” offers many addresses and hints for the time after the fair (German only). It is also available free of charge at the information booths at BeSt³ in the Wiener Stadthalle.
Programme
The programme of BeSt³ serves as a general orientation around the study and career choice. The programme on Stage 3 will be streamed live on the Internet. It will be available during the fair under BeSt Live Stream and after that the recordings will be kept online under BeSt Videos.
Registration is required to attend the workshops.
Induction systems for hearing-impaired people are available for all stages. Individual lectures are translated into Austrian Sign Language and are marked in the programme with the sign language symbol.
Job Application Check
With the Job Application Check ("Bewerbungs-Check"), you can have your application documents assessed by experts during the fair.
Food and drink
Cafes and buffets are situated throughout the area of the fair.
Elevator
People with reduced mobility or parents with buggies can use the elevator. However, this can only be used in the company of members of the BeSt-Team. If necessary, please contact the information booths. For more information, see Accessibility.
Childcare
The Children's Office of the University of Vienna (Kinderbüro der Universität Wien) offers free and professional care for children from two to eight years old (Galerie Nord). This offer can be used by visitors as well as by exhibitors. Registration is not required, only the reachability of the responsible adults must be guaranteed.
Medical Doctor
In case of emergency, the fair‘s medical doctor can be sent for via Messebüro or via information booths.
Messeteam
The members of the fair team, recognizable by black T-shirts with the imprint "BeSt Team", will help you along any time.
